THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM THIS EVENING. THE HIGH
WIND WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP AROUND 45 MPH.

* TIMING...THE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH GRADUALLY TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...STRONG WINDS WILL DOWN SOME TREE LIMBS...TREES...AND
  POWER LINES...RESULTING IN SOME POWER OUTAGES. TRAVEL CAN BE
  DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. THE
  STRONGEST WINDS TEND TO BE ON ELEVATED SURFACES SUCH AS
  BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY WINDY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED.
WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION. LIGHT-WEIGHT OUTDOOR OBJECTS
SUCH AS PATIO FURNITURE AND GARBAGE CANS SHOULD BE SECURED.
