...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM EDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...
...COASTAL FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING
THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one half foot of
inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines
and tidal waterways. For the Coastal Flood Watch, one to two
feet of inundation above ground level possible in low- lying
areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

* WHERE...Ocean and Coastal Ocean.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 3 AM EDT early
this morning. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from this evening
  through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs in
coastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal
waterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage to
vulnerable structures may begin to occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Increasing onshore flow during the day on
Friday combined with the higher astronomical tides will
increase the potential for moderate coastal flooding with the
Friday night high tide. The Friday night high tide is forecast
to have the highest water levels and greatest impacts with
this stretch of coastal flooding, and high tide water levels
  will lower over the weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
