...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT FOR
ATLANTIC...SOUTHEASTERN OCEAN...NORTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND AND
SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

AT 845 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT THE HEAVY RAIN HAD
MOVED OUT OF THE WARNING AREA. HOWEVER, RESIDUAL FLOODING IS
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THIS EVENING. RADAR ESTIMATED THAT ONE TO THREE
INCHES OF RAIN FELL ACROSS NORTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND COUNTY, WESTERN
AND NORTHERN ATLANTIC COUNTY, EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON COUNTY
AND FAR SOUTHERN OCEAN COUNTY. THERE WERE LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS IN
NORTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND COUNTY AND WESTERN ATLANTIC COUNTY.

THE RESIDUAL FLOOD WATERS ARE EXPECTED TO SUBSIDE LATE THIS EVENING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
