...ANOTHER ROUND OF COASTAL FLOODING INTO TONIGHT...

.STRONG LOW PRESSURE WAS LOCATED ABOUT 500 MILES OFF THE DELMARVA
PENINSULA THIS AFTERNOON. THE SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE FARTHER
OUT TO SEA. THE LOW WILL MAINTAIN AN ONSHORE FLOW ALONG THE COASTS
OF NEW JERSEY AND DELAWARE INTO THIS EVENING.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A COASTAL
FLOOD ADVISORY. IT IS IN EFFECT FROM 700 PM THIS EVENING UNTIL
MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.

* LOCATION...THE NEW JERSEY COUNTIES OF OCEAN, SOUTHEASTERN
  BURLINGTON, ATLANTIC, CAPE MAY AND CUMBERLAND, AND THE DELAWARE
  COUNTIES OF SUSSEX AND KENT.

* COASTAL FLOODING...MINOR FLOODING IS ANTICIPATED AROUND THE
  TIME OF THIS EVENING`S HIGH TIDE. WATER LEVELS WILL NOT BE AS
  HIGH AS THOSE OF THIS MORNING.

* TIMING...HIGH TIDE ON THE NEW JERSEY AND DELAWARE OCEANFRONT
  OCCURS BETWEEN 730 PM AND 830 PM THIS EVENING. HIGH TIDE ON THE
  BACK BAYS AND ALONG DELAWARE BAY OCCURS LATER THAN THE HIGH
  TIDE ON THE OCEANFRONT.

* WAVES...WAVES ON THE NEAR-SHORE WATERS OFF NEW JERSEY AND
  DELAWARE WILL RANGE FROM 4 TO 7 FEET.

* IMPACTS...LOCALIZED ROADWAY FLOODING IS EXPECTED. SOME ROADS
  MAY BE CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER. ADDITIONAL BEACH EROSION IS
  LIKELY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS THAT MINOR TIDAL FLOODING IS
EXPECTED. MINOR TIDAL FLOODING OFTEN RESULTS IN SOME ROAD
CLOSURES. USUALLY, THE MOST VULNERABLE ROADWAYS WILL FLOOD.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE AT A LOCATION THAT IS PRONE TO TIDAL
FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS. THE
WATER MAY BE DEEPER THAN YOU THINK IT IS. YOU WILL BE PUTTING
YOURSELF IN DANGER AND YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE DAMAGED, LEADING TO
COSTLY REPAIRS.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF PRECIPITATION THIS AFTERNOON WILL BE MOSTLY
  SNOW WHEN IT FALLS AT A HEAVIER RATE. SNOW HAS THE POTENTIAL TO
  FALL AT A MODERATE TO HEAVY RATE AT TIMES LATER THIS AFTERNOON
  AND EVENING IN CECIL COUNTY MARYLAND AND NORTHERN NEW CASTLE
  COUNTY DELAWARE. MEANWHILE FROM SUSSEX AND SOUTHERN KENT
  COUNTIES IN DELAWARE TO CAPE MAY AND ATLANTIC COUNTIES IN
  SOUTHEAST NEW JERSEY... SNOW SHOULD NOT BE A TRAVEL HAZARD UNTIL
  THIS EVENING WHEN TEMPERATURES FALL TO NEAR FREEZING AND INTERMITTENT
  PRECIPITATION CHANGES TO SNOW.

* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL AFFECT TRAVEL THROUGH TONIGHT
  IN NORTHEAST MARYLAND AND NORTHERN DELAWARE...INCLUDING THE LATE
  DAY COMMUTE AND ESPECIALLY IN CECIL COUNTY MARYLAND AND NEW
  CASTLE COUNTY DELAWARE. THE ROAD CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY DETERIORATE
  DURING TIMES OF HEAVIER SNOWFALL RATES LATER TODAY. REMEMBER...
  BRIDGES AND OTHER ELEVATED SURFACES TEND TO BECOME SLIPPERY
  FIRST.
