FROM 3 PM TUESDAY TO 10 AM EST WEDNESDAY.

* LOCATIONS...THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY...MOST OF SOUTHERN
  CONNECTICUT...AND PARTS OF NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 4 INCHES...ALONG WITH
  UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE.

* TEMPERATURES...STARTING IN THE MID 20S TUESDAY AFTERNOON...THEN
  SLOWLY RISING INTO THE LOWER 30S WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* TIMING...SNOW DEVELOPS LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON...THEN MIXES WITH
  SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN TUESDAY NIGHT BEFORE A CHANGEOVER TO
  FREEZING RAIN LATE AT NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED SURFACES...COATED WITH ICE...WILL MAKE
  TRAVELING DIFFICULT AT TIMES.
