ESSEX AND RICHMOND COUNTIES...

At 552 PM EST, a strong thunderstorm was located over Middlesex, or
near Somerville, moving east at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and brief torrential rainfall are possible
with this storm.

This storm will be near...
  Plainfield around 605 PM EST.
  Clark around 615 PM EST.
  Linden and Tottenville around 620 PM EST.
  Elizabeth and Huguenot around 625 PM EST.

Showers and scattered thunderstorms will accompany the passage of a
cold front early this evening. Storms may reach severe levels and
produce isolated wind gusts as high as 50 knots along with small
hail.
