...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow...which is in effect until 4 PM PST this
afternoon.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Dusting to 2 inches for southern Humboldt
  County including Winnemucca. Northern Humboldt County 2 to 5
  inches. White Pine County including Ely expect 2 to 5 inches.

* TIMING...Snow will increase in coverage across Humboldt County
  through the morning. The heaviest snow will be later this
  morning and into the afternoon. The greatest impacts will be
  this morning for southern Humboldt County and later this
  afternoon for northern Humboldt County. White Pine County will
  continue to see light to moderate snow persist through the
  afternoon.

* WINDS...Variable light winds of 5 to 10 mph. Localized gusts to
  20 mph will be possible during the afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Expect slick travel, especially across passes and
  summits.
