   WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.

THE COLDEST AIR YET THIS WINTER IS ON TRACK TO ARRIVE BY MID TO
LATE WEEK AND PERSIST INTO THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEKEND. THIS
COLD AIR WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY ANOTHER ROUND OF SIGNIFICANT LAKE
EFFECT SNOW DOWNWIND OF LAKE ONTARIO. CONFIDENCE IS VERY HIGH IN
SIGNIFICANT LAKE EFFECT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS LATE NEXT WEEK...
HOWEVER IT WILL TAKE UNTIL EARLY TO MID NEXT WEEK BEFORE WE BECOME
MORE CONFIDENT IN THE LOCATIONS OF HIGHEST IMPACT.

  FOR THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW. GENERAL SNOWFALL LATE THIS AFTERNOON
  THROUGH MONDAY MORNING FOR THE ENTIRE REGION.

* TIMING...THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IS IN EFFECT THROUGH
  LATE THIS MORNING. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT
  FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE MONDAY MORNING.

* HAZARDS...HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...AN ADDITIONAL 3 TO 5 INCHES IN MOST PERSISTENT
  LAKE EFFECT SNOWS THIS MORNING. THEN A GENERAL 4 TO 7 INCHES OF
  SNOW ACROSS THE ENTIRE COUNTY LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY
  MORNING.

* VISIBILITIES...AS LOW AS A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT
  ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW ON AREA ROADWAYS AND POOR VISIBILITIES
  AT TIMES...RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WITHIN THE
  MOST INTENSE PORTION OF THE BAND. BE PREPARED FOR DIFFICULT
  WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS WITH GREATLY REDUCED VISIBILITY AND
  SNOW COVER ON ROADS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IN LAKE EFFECT SNOW THE WEATHER CAN VARY FROM LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW
IN NARROW BANDS TO CLEAR SKIES JUST A FEW MILES AWAY. IF YOU WILL
BE TRAVELING ACROSS THE REGION BE PREPARED FOR RAPID CHANGES IN
ROAD AND VISIBILITY CONDITIONS.

IF YOU LOSE POWER AND PLAN ON RUNNING A GENERATOR...MAKE SURE
THAT THE GENERATOR IS LOCATED OUTDOORS AND IS PROPERLY
VENTILATED. SPACE HEATERS SHOULD ALSO BE PROPERLY VENTILATED AND
