THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL NEW YORK.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THE CHANCE OF WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

LAKE ENHANCED SNOWFALL WILL DEVELOP EAST OF LAKE ONTARIO LATE
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL. THE
GREATEST AMOUNTS ARE LIKELY TO BE ACROSS THE TUG HILL PLATEAU.

ADDITIONAL LAKE EFFECT SNOW MAY DEVELOP FRIDAY. AN ARCTIC COLD
FRONT WILL THEN CROSS THE REGION FRIDAY EVENING...AND MAY PRODUCE
A HEAVY SNOW SQUALL.

A BITTERLY COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL ARRIVE THIS WEEKEND. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY REMAIN IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ON SATURDAY
WITH LOW TEMPERATURES BELOW ZERO. THE COMBINATION OF FRIGID
TEMPERATURES AND WIND MAY PRODUCE DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS.
