This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central New York.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

There will be another chance for up to a tenth of an inch of freezing
rain across the region Sunday morning before milder air turns the
threat to just plain rain.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EDT THIS
MORNING...

* LOCATIONS...The Tug Hill region of Oswego county...Lewis
  county...and mainly interior portions of Jefferson county.

* TIMING...Through late this morning.

* HAZARDS...Freezing rain...sleet...and snow.

* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow accumulating an inch or less this morning.
  Ice accumulating up to one tenth of an inch through this
  morning.

* IMPACTS...Ice accumulation on untreated roads and walkways
  will lead to hazardous travel conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory is normally issued for a variety of
winter weather conditions such as light snow, blowing snow,
sleet, freezing rain and wind chills. While the weather will be
significant, the word advisory implies that severe winter weather
is not anticipated.
