SAFETY MESSAGE...NEVER DRIVE YOUR CAR THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS. THE
WATER MAY BE DEEPER THAN IT APPEARS.  TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN!

  THE BLACK RIVER AT WATERTOWN
* UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING.
* AT 8 PM FRIDAY THE STAGE WAS 10.9 FEET AND FALLING.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 10.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL...AND IS EXPECTED TO
  DROP BELOW FLOOD STAGE EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT...AT 10.0 FEET...FLOOD STAGE...AGRICULTURAL AREAS AND
  ADJACENT ROADWAYS FLOODED. MINOR DAMAGES TO RIVERFRONT COMMERCIAL
  PROPERTIES. SOME ROAD CLOSURES IN LEWIS COUNTY...ESPECIALLY EAST
  MARTINSBURG RD.
