INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY.

THERE WILL BE A PERIOD OF WIDESPREAD SNOW SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY MORNING. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY AVERAGE 2 TO 4
INCHES... WHICH MAY RESULT IN A SLIPPER MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE.
PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO TRAVEL TO WORK MONDAY MORNING.

THE COLDEST AIR YET THIS WINTER IS ON TRACK TO ARRIVE BY MID TO
LATE NEXT WEEK AND PERSIST INTO THE WEEKEND. THIS BITTERLY COLD
AIR WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY ANOTHER ROUND OF SIGNIFICANT LAKE
EFFECT SNOW DOWNWIND OF LAKES ERIE AND ONTARIO. CONFIDENCE IS
VERY HIGH IN SIGNIFICANT LAKE EFFECT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS LATE NEXT
WEEK... HOWEVER IT WILL TAKE UNTIL EARLY TO MID NEXT WEEK BEFORE
WE BECOME MORE CONFIDENT IN THE LOCATIONS OF HIGHEST IMPACT.

* LOCATIONS...NORTHERN ERIE COUNTY. GREATEST AMOUNTS CLOSE TO
  LAKE ERIE FROM SOUTH BUFFALO INTO THE SOUTHTOWNS.

* TIMING...FROM LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE SUNDAY MORNING.

* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 6 INCHES OVERNIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY MORNING
  IN PERSISTENT SNOWS.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 5 TO 10 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES...AS LOW AS A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL PRODUCE ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW
  ON AREA ROADWAYS AND POOR VISIBILITIES AT TIMES...RESULTING IN
  HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IN LAKE EFFECT SNOW THE WEATHER CAN VARY FROM LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW
IN NARROW BANDS TO CLEAR SKIES JUST A FEW MILES AWAY. IF YOU WILL
BE TRAVELING ACROSS THE REGION BE PREPARED FOR RAPID CHANGES IN
ROAD AND VISIBILITY CONDITIONS.
