...THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
645 PM EDT FOR NORTHEASTERN ONONDAGA COUNTY...

AT 427 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS
WITH HEAVY RAIN MOVING INTO THE SYRACUSE METRO AREA. THIS WILL CAUSE
URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO TWO
INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
SYRACUSE...CICERO...MANLIUS...LIVERPOOL...LYNDON...GALEVILLE...NEW YORK
STATE FAIRGROUNDS...KIRKVILLE...WATERVALE...BRIDGEPORT...CLAY...DE WITT...
NORTH SYRACUSE...SOLVAY...FAYETTEVILLE...MINOA...EAST SYRACUSE...NEDROW...
WOODARD AND MATTYDALE.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA. THIS
ADDITIONAL RAIN MAY CAUSE MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS
WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
