TUESDAY...

* LOCATIONS...THE INTERSTATE 81 CORRIDOR OF CENTRAL NEW YORK AND
  NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA... FROM THE SYRACUSE METRO AREA...
  SOUTHWARD THROUGH CORTLAND AND BINGHAMTON... THEN FURTHER
  SOUTHWARD TOWARDS WILKES-BARRE... SCRANTON... HAZLETON... AND
  ADJACENT PORTIONS OF THE POCONO PLATEAU.

* HAZARD TYPES...FREEZING RAIN.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* TIMING...AN AREA OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN OR FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL
  OVERSPREAD THE REGION EARLY TUESDAY MORNING... GENERALLY BETWEEN
  5 AND 8 AM. TEMPERATURES WILL SLOWLY RISE ABOVE FREEZING LATE
  TUESDAY MORNING... WITH AT LEAST PATCHES OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN
  EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH ABOUT 12 NOON... PARTICULARLY OVER
  THE HIGHER TERRAIN.

* IMPACTS...ICE ACCUMULATIONS MAY CREATE SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS.

* WINDS...SOUTHEAST 5 MPH OR LESS.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN OR
FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
