THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL NEW YORK AND
NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A LARGE STORM IS EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE AREA FROM SUNDAY NIGHT
INTO TUESDAY. PRECIPITATION WILL BEGIN AS MOSTLY RAIN SUNDAY
NIGHT BEFORE BECOMING MIXED WITH SNOW AND ICE PELLETS AND
POTENTIALLY SOME FREEZING RAIN THROUGH THE DAY MONDAY. HIGHER
ELEVATION AREAS IN THE CATSKILLS WILL BE THE FIRST TO CHANGE OVER
LATE SUNDAY NIGHT WITH VALLEY LOCATIONS LIKELY STAYING MOSTLY RAIN
THROUGH AT LEAST THE FIRST HALF OF MONDAY.

THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY IN TOTAL SNOW AND ICE AMOUNTS BUT
INDICATIONS ARE MANY AREAS COULD SEE 2-4 INCHES OF SNOW BY
TUESDAY WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. THE SYSTEM WILL ALSO BE
ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG EAST WINDS MONDAY INTO MONDAY NIGHT WHICH
COULD ADD TO THE IMPACTS OF ANY SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATION.
