* MAXIMUM SNOWFALL RATE...UP TO 1 INCH PER HOUR...MAINLY THIS
  EVENING THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

* TIMING...SCATTERED LIGHT TO MODERATE LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS
  WILL CONTINUE ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY THIS
  AFTERNOON. THE BANDS OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL BECOME HEAVIER AND
  MORE ORGANIZED THIS EVENING...THROUGH ABOUT MIDNIGHT...BEFORE
  SHIFTING EAST AND SOUTH OF THE AREA. THEREAFTER...DANGEROUSLY
  LOW WIND CHILLS ARE EXPECTED FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND.

* IMPACTS...DIFFICULT TRAVEL DUE TO MODERATE SNOWFALL
  ACCUMULATING ON ROADS AS WELL AS REDUCED VISIBILITIES.
  DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILLS ARE THEN EXPECTED DURING THE
  WEEKEND.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH UNTIL MIDNIGHT...BECOMING
  NORTHWEST 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH THROUGH SATURDAY
  MORNING.

* TEMPERATURES...HIGHS AROUND 20 THIS AFTERNOON. LOWS 10 TO 15
  BELOW TONIGHT. HIGHS 5 TO 10 BELOW FOR SATURDAY.

* VISIBILITIES...A HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES LATE THIS AFTERNOON
  THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

* WIND CHILL READINGS...AS LOW AS 39 BELOW DUE TO BELOW ZERO
  TEMPERATURES AND NORTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30
  MPH.

A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND
STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS
WILL RESULT IN FROSTBITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF
PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.

A LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY MEANS LAKE-EFFECT SNOW IS FORECAST
THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT IN SOME AREAS. LAKE-EFFECT SNOW
SHOWERS TYPICALLY ALIGN THEMSELVES IN BANDS AND WILL LIKELY BE
INTENSE ENOUGH TO DROP SEVERAL INCHES IN LOCALIZED AREAS. USE
CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING.
