THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL NEW YORK AND
NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

...POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...
A STORM SYSTEM OVER THE GREAT LAKES WILL SPREAD RAIN ACROSS ALL OF
CENTRAL NEW YORK AND NORTHERN PENNSYLVANIA AND PERSIST THROUGH
THE OVERNIGHT PERIOD. HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY FROM
THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING. WHILE WE DO NOT ANTICIPATE A
WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAINFALL EVENT, LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING IS
POSSIBLE DURING THIS TIME.

FLASH FLOOD WATCHES MAY BE NEEDED SO PERSONS LIVING IN FLOOD PRONE
AREAS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD A FLASH FLOOD WATCH
OR WARNING BE ISSUED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

HEAVY RAINFALL THREAT WILL CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY WITH LOCALIZED
FLASH FLOODING STILL POSSIBLE.
