...Spotty light freezing rain early this morning...

An area of light rain is pushing slowly northeastward across parts
of central New York early this morning. Although many areas are
above freezing, a few spots remain in the 30-32 degree range. As a
result, some brief and spotty light freezing rain may occur.

Untreated surfaces may become slippery. Motorists are advised to
use caution early this morning and be prepared for changeable
conditions.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York and
northeast Pennsylvania.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A cold front will bring showers with the potential for thunderstorms
as it moves through the area late Wednesday. Early indications are
strong, potentially damaging winds and heavy rainfall may be
possible with any storms that develop. The best chances for this
occurring would be from New York`s southern tier southward into
northeast Pennsylvania. At this time there remains a lot of
uncertainty in this forecast so please check back frequently for
updates as this will be monitored very closely over the next 48
hours.
