THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWESTERN
CONNECTICUT...WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK AND
SOUTHERN VERMONT.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT...MAINLY FROM THE
CAPITAL DISTRICT NORTH AND WEST. THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK THAT
ANY THUNDERSTORM COULD BECOME STRONG TO LOCALLY SEVERE...PRODUCING
GUSTY WINDS AND PERHAPS LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. THE HEAVY RAINFALL
COULD RESULT IN PONDING OF WATER IN AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE.

ANY THUNDERSTORM THAT DOES FORM WILL MOVE FROM SOUTHWEST TO
NORTHEAST AROUND 30 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

A SOAKING RAINFALL IS LIKELY SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT WITH
POTENTIAL FOR 2-3 INCHES OF RAINFALL. THIS RAIN WILL BE MOST
BENEFICIAL IN THAT WILL IMPROVE THE WATER TABLE AND PRODUCE WITHIN
BANK RISES ON ALL RIVERS AND STREAMS MORE TYPICAL FOR EARLY
SUMMER.

IT COULD HOWEVER...PRODUCE ADDITIONAL PONDING OF WATER IN AREAS OF
POOR DRAINAGE.
