THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL NEW
YORK...SOUTHEASTERN NEW YORK AND NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

A LIGHT WINTRY MIX OF SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN, OR DRIZZLE IS
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE AREA TONIGHT...THEN QUICKLY CHANGE TO
RAIN WITHIN A FEW HOURS OF ONSET. THERE MAY BE SOME SLIPPERY SPOTS
ON UNTREATED SURFACES...BUT WIDESPREAD PROBLEMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED
AT THIS TIME. AREAS MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO ANY WINTRY MIX WILL BE
OVER THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BLAST THROUGH THE AREA CHRISTMAS
MORNING. PEAK WIND GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED AT THIS
TIME...WHICH COULD CONTRIBUTE TO AREAS OF MINOR DAMAGE AND
SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES.
