THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEW
YORK.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THE CHANCE OF WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A VERY SLOW MOVING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE INTO THE GREAT
LAKES AND NORTHEAST LATE MONDAY AND REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH
THURSDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING PERIODS OF SNOW TO THE REGION.
MOST OF THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT...BUT WILL EVENTUALLY
ADD UP TO MODERATE ACCUMULATIONS OVER A PERIOD OF SEVERAL DAYS.

THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR SOMEWHAT HEAVIER SNOW WILL BE WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING WHEN THE AIRMASS GROWS COLD
ENOUGH FOR LAKE ENHANCEMENT. THIS MAY PRODUCE HIGHER SNOW TOTALS
ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE WESTERN SOUTHERN TIER AND AREAS SOUTHEAST
OF LAKE ONTARIO.
