THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN NEW YORK.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

THE CHANCE FOR WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

A VERY SLOW MOVING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE INTO THE GREAT
LAKES AND NORTHEAST TUESDAY AND REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH THURSDAY.
THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING PERIODS OF SNOW TO THE REGION. MOST OF THE
SNOW WILL INITIALLY BE LIGHT TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. WEDNESDAY
THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING LAKE ENHANCEMENT AND UPSLOPE FLOW MAY
PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVIER SNOW ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE
CHAUTAUQUA RIDGE AND BOSTON HILLS.

A BITTERLY COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL ARRIVE THIS WEEKEND. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY REMAIN IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ON SATURDAY
WITH LOW TEMPERATURES BELOW ZERO. THE COMBINATION OF FRIGID
TEMPERATURES AND WIND MAY PRODUCE DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS.
