...STRONG WINDS DEVELOPING ON MONDAY...

.A DEEPENING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER LOWER MICHIGAN WILL CONTINUE
TO MOVE QUICKLY NORTHEAST TODAY DRAGGING A STRONG COLD FRONT EAST
ACROSS THE LOCAL AREA. SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL GUST TO 45 TO 50 MPH
ALONG THE LAKESHORE FROM PAINESVILLE TO ERIE THIS MORNING.
STRONGER SOUTHWEST WINDS ARE THEN EXPECTED BEHIND THE COLD FRONT
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. WIND GUSTS COULD EXCEED 60 MPH ACROSS
NORTHWEST AND NORTH-CENTRAL OHIO. SCATTERED SHOWERS MAY ENHANCE
THE THREAT OF DAMAGING WINDS ALONG THE FRONT.

THIS EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 PM
EST THIS EVENING. THE HIGH WIND WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 25 TO 35 MPH THIS
  AFTERNOON WITH GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH POSSIBLE. THE STRONGEST
  WINDS WILL LIKELY OCCUR WITH SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH THE AREA.
  WINDS WILL BEGIN TO SLOWLY DIMINISH THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...THE STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND
  EVENING.

* IMPACTS...DAMAGING WINDS ARE POSSIBLE THAT MAY BRING DOWN
  TREES AND POWER LINES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST TO BE
31 TO 39 MPH OR GUSTS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 46 AND 57 MPH. WINDS OF
THESE MAGNITUDES MAY CAUSE MINOR PROPERTY DAMAGE WITHOUT EXTRA
PRECAUTIONS. MOTORISTS IN HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES SHOULD USE
CAUTION UNTIL THE WINDS SUBSIDE. STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO
FOR FURTHER DETAILS OR UPDATES.
