Winter Storm Warning

URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH
412 AM EST SUN FEB 1 2015

...A WINTER STORM WILL BRING HEAVY SNOW AND A WINTRY MIX
TODAY INTO EARLY MONDAY...

.LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK OUT OF THE CENTRAL PLAINS TODAY AND
INTENSIFY AS IT MERGES WITH A SYSTEM MOVING SOUTHEAST OUT OF
CANADA. SNOW WILL BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON AND
CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY NIGHT AS THE LOW TRACKS ACROSS CENTRAL OHIO.

WARMER AIR WILL GET PULLED NORTH AHEAD OF THE APPROACHING LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM AND WILL CAUSE SNOW TO MIX WITH FREEZING RAIN OR
SLEET...AND POSSIBLY CHANGE OVER TO RAIN ACROSS CENTRAL OHIO. THE
NORTHERN EXTENT OF THE MIXED PRECIPITATION WILL BE HARD TO PIN
DOWN BUT SHOULD REACH AT LEAST AS FAR NORTH AS A LINE FROM MARION
TO AKRON TO YOUNGSTOWN. PRECIPITATION WILL TRANSITION BACK TO
SNOW ON SUNDAY NIGHT AND TAPER OFF FROM WEST TO EAST ON MONDAY
MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...5 TO 9 INCHES.

* SNOW BEGINNING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD EASTWARD ACROSS
  THE REGION THROUGH SUNRISE THEN CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT. SOUTHERN
  PORTIONS OF THIS AREA MAY MIX WITH SOME RAIN OR FREEZING RAIN
  THIS EVENING.

* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW...THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL LATE
  THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH 4 AM MONDAY.

* SNOW ENDING...MONDAY MORNING.

* WINDS...BECOMING NORTHWEST OVERNIGHT AT 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS
  UP TO 30 MPH. THIS WILL CAUSE SOME BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED
  VISIBILITIES.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO
  HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES.

IF YOU WILL BE TRAVELING IN THE WARNING AREA YOU SHOULD USE
EXTREME CAUTION IF TRAVEL IS UNAVOIDABLE. STAY TUNED TO NOAA
