URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

.LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL MOVE INTO NORTHERN OHIO THIS MORNING.
PRECIPITATION WILL GRADUALLY TRANSITION TO RAIN FOR A TIME THIS
AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES RISE ABOVE FREEZING. SLEET AND SNOW
WILL BE MORE LIKELY FOR FAR NORTHEAST OHIO AND NORTHWEST
PENNSYLVANIA THIS MORNING AND EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. TOWARD
EVENING AND FOR TONIGHT SNOW SHOWERS WILL BECOME LIKELY FOR NORTH
CENTRAL OHIO INTO NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A TRACE TO A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH.

* ICE ENDING...THE THREAT FOR FREEZING RAIN WILL END TOWARD
  MIDDAY AS SURFACE AND AIR TEMPERATURES WARM ABOVE FREEZING.

* TEMPERATURES...MID 20S...RISING TO THE MID 30S FOR THIS
  AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO ICY
  ROADS. EVEN LIGHT AMOUNTS OF ICING CAN MAKE UNTREATED ROADS
  AND WALKWAYS ICY. MOTORISTS AND PEDESTRIANS SHOULD USE CAUTION.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN ICING IS EXPECTED IN THE
AFFECTED AREAS... BUT NOT ENOUGH TO DISRUPT TRAVEL OR DAMAGE
TREES AND POWER LINES. INSTEAD... PATCHES OF ICE WILL CAUSE SLICK
SPOTS ON ROADWAYS AND SIDEWALKS. WALKING AND DRIVING COULD
THEREFORE BE DIFFICULT... BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP NEAR THE GULF COAST ON SUNDAY
AND COULD TO NEAR THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY SUNDAY NIGHT. THIS MAY
BRING MODERATE SNOWFALL TO AN AREA NEAR AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM
MARION TO YOUNGSTOWN.
