PATCHY DENSE FOG...DROPPING VISIBILITIES DOWN TO AROUND A QUARTER
OF A MILE...IS AFFECTING PORTIONS OF THE REGION THIS MORNING.

THE DENSE FOG WILL LAST THROUGH 9 AM...BEFORE IT STARTS TO
IMPROVE. IF YOU ARE TRAVELING THIS MORNING...BE PREPARED FOR RAPID
DROPS IN VISIBILITIES. IN ADDITION...MAKE SURE THAT YOU USE YOU
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS IN THE DENSE FOG.

A STRONG COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE EAST THROUGH THE REGION
FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS
WILL ACCOMPANY THIS FRONT. GIVEN THE STRONG WIND REGIME ALOFT...A
FEW STORMS MAY BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE WITH DAMAGING WINDS BEING
THE PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER THREAT. CONTINUE TO MONITOR LATER
FORECASTS ON THIS WEATHER SYSTEM.
