...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING.


* VISIBILITIES...AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL RESULT IN THE VISIBILITY
  DROPPING TO A QUARTER OF A MILE OR LESS.

* TIMING...THE FOG WILL PERSIST EARLY THIS MORNING...WITH
  VISIBILITIES IMPROVING BETWEEN 9 AND 10 AM.

* IMPACTS...POOR VISIBILITIES WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
  CONDITIONS. DRIVERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR QUICK FLUCTUATIONS IN
  VISIBILITY.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN DENSE FOG WILL SUBSTANTIALLY
REDUCE VISIBILITIES, RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS IN
SOME AREAS. MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE CAUTION AND SLOW DOWN,
AS OBJECTS ON AND NEAR ROADWAYS WILL BE SEEN ONLY AT CLOSE RANGE.
