Scattered snow showers will occur late this afternoon through the evening. Accumulations are generally forecast to be a half inch or less. However, these snow showers will have the potential to produce quick bursts of snow that could cause rapid decreases in visibility and slick spots on roadways. This evening, wind gusts of up to 40 mph will be possible. Early Thursday morning, wind chill values will be in the single digits above zero. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Light snow is possible Thursday late evening into the overnight. Accumulations are expected to be light, but cold temperatures will allow for slick conditions Thursday night into Friday morning. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... A cold front moves through this evening bringing the potential for snow showers and gusty winds. While accumulations will generally be less than one half inch, quick bursts of snow will lead to reductions in visibility and slick conditions at times. In addition, quickly falling temperatures will lead to the development of slick spots overnight on some surfaces. Wind gusts of up to 45 mph are possible. Cold conditions and blustery winds are expected Thursday morning with wind chill values between -5 and 5 degrees. $$
