THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN...
WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

.TIMING...
THE MOST LIKELY TIME FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL BE BETWEEN 2 PM AND 8
PM THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

.IMPACTS...
HAIL TO THE SIZE OF GOLF BALLS AND WIND GUSTS TO 65 MPH WILL BE
THE MAIN IMPACTS...ALONG WITH HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING.

.DISCUSSION...
AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE OUT OF THE SOUTHERN ROCKIES
INTO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS TODAY. AS THIS OCCURS A SURFACE COLD FRONT
WILL MOVE EAST AND SOUTHEAST ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS.

AS THE COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE I-35 CORRIDOR EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON... DAYTIME HEATING WILL PROVIDE SUFFICIENT INSTABILITY
FOR AN INCREASE IN THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE STORM DEVELOPMENT. A
BROKEN LINE OF STORMS IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP NEAR THE I-35
CORRIDOR AND MOVE QUICKLY EAST THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS
EVENING.

.SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT STATEMENT...

STORM SPOTTER GROUPS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL ACROSS
CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA SHOULD PREPARE FOR SEVERE
WEATHER OPERATIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
