THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORMAN HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN MURRAY COUNTY IN SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...
  SOUTH CENTRAL GARVIN COUNTY IN SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...

* UNTIL 915 PM CDT

* AT 719 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA.
  UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  SULPHUR AND WYNNEWOOD.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF ONE TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES IS EXPECTED OVER
THE AREA. THIS ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RESULT IN MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND
UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN.

THROUGH TONIGHT ACROSS PORTIONS OF OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH
TEXAS. GUSTY WINDS... HEAVY RAINFALL THAT COULD RESULT IN FLOODING
OR FLASH FLOODING... AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL BE THE MAIN
IMPACTS.
