much of Eastern Oklahoma.

RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Temperatures near seasonal averages are expected across
Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas this afternoon. Despite cooler
temperatures and light winds...the ongoing dry conditions over
the region will allow for a limited fire danger potential through
the afternoon.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
FRIDAY...No Hazards.
SATURDAY...High Wind Potential. Fire Danger Potential.
SUNDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Cool conditions are forecast to continue Friday before gusty
southerly winds and warmer temperatures return Saturday. These
conditions Saturday will increase fire danger potential over
Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. Rain chances look to
develop Saturday night into Sunday as a low pressure system is
forecast to lift into the Southern Plains. At this time, the
higher precipitation chances look to be across far Eastern
Oklahoma into Northwest Arkansas.
