At 3:00 AM...Doppler radars detected showers with embedded
thunderstorms advancing east behind a cold front exiting the
region. The majority of the thunderstorm activity was located
along and east of a line from McAlester to Miami. To the west of
this line...scattered rain showers with isolated embedded thunder
was observed. The rear edge of the showers was pushing across
Osage and Pawnee counties.

Through 4:15 AM...Showers along with isolated to scattered
embedded thunderstorms will continue to push east across the
majority of Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. Hourly
rainfall rates of up around a quarter inch with locally higher
amounts will be possible. Dangerous cloud to ground lightning can
also be expected with this activity.
