This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest
Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Windy conditions expected today as high pressure rebuilds across
the region. Boaters on area lakes should exercise caution.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...

Showers and thunderstorms possible on Friday night into Saturday
night as an upper-low and surface front move across the region.
No widespread organized hazardous weather is expected at this
time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of emergency management personnel...amateur radio
operators...and storm spotters may be needed late this afternoon
and overnight.

...A Lake Wind Advisory will be in effect from 9 AM until 6 PM CST
for much of the Four State Region...

.A tight pressure gradient associated with surface high pressure
building into the region and a departing surface low pressure
system moving across the Plains and Middle Mississippi Valley
will produce Westerly winds of 15-25 MPH with higher gusts to
25-35 MPH.

...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM
CST THIS EVENING FOR MUCH OF THE FOUR STATE REGION...

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Lake Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 9 AM this morning to 6 PM CST
this evening.

* EVENT...A tight pressure gradient associated with surface high
  pressure building into the region and a departing surface low
  pressure system moving across the Plains and Middle Mississippi
  Valley will produce Westerly winds of 15-25 MPH with higher
  gusts to 25-35 MPH

* TIMING...From 9 AM until 6 PM CST today.

* IMPACT...A rough chop on area lakes will create hazardous
  boating conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to taking on
water and capsizing.
