...The flood advisory continues for the Ohio River...
  Ohio River At Pittsburgh affecting Allegheny County

.   A storm system sweeping a warm front to our north, brought a surge
of warm, moist air into the region as well as moderate to heavy
rainfall during the past 24 hours. The combination of warm air aiding
snow-melt and 24 hour rainfall totals up to 2.10 inches, is causing
significant rises on the Monongahela and Youghiogheny Rivers.

The these rises will be sufficient to cause water Ohio River at the
Point in Pittsburgh 19.7 feet. This will allow as much as a foot of
water flow onto the Monongahela River Parking Wharf later tonight. High
water will continue to affect the Monongahela River Parking Wharf
through at least Friday morning.

Impact...At 19.5 feet...The Mon Parking Wharf is completely flooded.

* until Friday morning.
* At 11AM Wednesday the stage was 17.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 19.7 feet tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 19.5 feet...The Mon Parking Wharf is completely flooded.

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
Pennsylvania...West Virginia...

  Monongahela River Near Charleroi affecting Fayette...Washington and
  Westmoreland Counties
  Monongahela River Near Elizabeth affecting Allegheny...Washington
  and Westmoreland Counties
  Cheat River At Rowlesburg affecting Preston County

.  A storm system sweeping a warm front through our region to the north,
brought a surge of warm, moist air into the region as well as moderate to
heavy rainfall. The combination of warm air aiding snow-melt and the
rainfall with 24 hour totals up to 2.10 inches, is causing significant
rises on on the Cheat and Monongahela Rivers.

These rises will be sufficient to bring the Cheat River to flood
stage at Rowlesburg later today. The Monongahela River will rise to flood
stage at Elizabeth and Charloi later tonight. Minor flooding is expected
at each location.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...Do not drive through flooded areas. The water may be
deeper than it appears. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio for later
developments.

  cancelled.
* At 11:15 AM Wednesday the stage was 16.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to
  rise to near 20.8 feet by tomorrow morning.the river will fall
  below flood stage by tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Small communities around Lock 3 area begin
  minor flooding.

  Youghiogheny River At Sutersville affecting Allegheny and
  Westmoreland Counties

.  A storm system sweeping a warm front to our north, brought a surge
of warm, moist air into the region as well as moderate to heavy
rainfall. The combination of warm air aiding snow-melt and the rainfall
with 24 hour totals up to 2.10 inches, is causing significant rises on
on the Youghiogheny River.

These rises will be sufficient to bring the Youghiogheny River to flood
stage at Connelsville and Sutersville later today. Minor flooding is
expected at both locations.

* At 10:15 AM Wednesday the stage was 15.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to
  rise to near 20.2 feet by this evening.the river will fall below
  flood stage by this evening.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Residential basement flooding in sutersville
  begins in homes along the right bank. Flooding also begins in the
  west newton business district 5 miles upstream.
