THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN NEW JERSEY AND
NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

PLEASE LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR GO TO WEATHER.GOV ON THE
INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   WIND CHILL WARNING.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM COULD BRING A SUBSTANTIAL WINTRY MIX TO THE
AREA. PRECIPITATION SHOULD START OFF AS SNOW MONDAY AND
CHANGEOVER TO SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN MONDAY NIGHT. POCKETS OF
FREEZING RAIN MAY LINGER IN SOME OF THE COLDER SPOTS TUESDAY
MORNING WHILE IT TRANSITIONS TO JUST RAIN ELSEWHERE. THE RAIN MAY
BE HEAVY AT TIMES EARLY TUESDAY AND COULD LEAD TO POOR DRAINAGE
FLOODING ON TUESDAY. THERE IS STILL QUITE A BIT OF UNCERTAINTY
REGARDING THE TRACK OF THIS STORM AND WE URGE ALL INTERESTS TO
MONITOR FORECASTS FOR EARLY THIS WEEK.

* LOCATIONS...THE POCONOS AND SUSSEX COUNTY OF FAR NORTHWESTERN
  NEW JERSEY.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...AS LOW AS 20 TO 30 DEGREES BELOW ZERO.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH.

* IMPACTS...WIND CHILL VALUES REACHING DANGEROUS LEVELS. THE
  COMBINATION OF VERY LOW WIND CHILLS AND FRIGID AIR TEMPERATURES
  HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO RESULT IN FROZEN PIPES... FROSTBITE AND
  HYPOTHERMIA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL WARNING MEANS THE COMBINATION OF VERY COLD AIR AND
STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY LOW WIND CHILL VALUES. THIS
WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA OR DEATH IF
PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
