This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Delaware, northeast
Maryland, central New Jersey, northern New Jersey, northwest New
Jersey, southern New Jersey, east central Pennsylvania and
southeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

A few storms that develop late this afternoon and this evening may
become strong to severe with the greatest risk occurring between 5
and 9 PM. Locally damaging winds will be the primary threat from
these storms.

Pockets of heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding, primary
in poor drainage areas, late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

The potential for heavy rainfall and localized poor drainage
flooding will continue through mid morning Saturday.


Spotter activation may be needed this evening.

Reading, moving northeast at 40 mph. Gusty winds and brief heavy
downpours will be possible with any thunderstorms this afternoon and

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Reading, Easton, Lehighton, Bethlehem, Ewing, Pottstown,
Phoenixville, Lansdale, Forks, East Norriton, Princeton, Emmaus,
Wyomissing, Northampton, East Stroudsburg, Quakertown, Perkasie,
Doylestown and Byram.
