...A MAJOR WINTER STORM WILL IMPACT OUR AREA TODAY INTO TUESDAY...

.LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING NEAR CAPE HATTERAS THIS AFTERNOON WILL
INTENSIFY RAPIDLY AS IT MOVES NORTHEAST OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST
TONIGHT. THIS INTENSE LOW CENTER WILL PASS SOUTHEAST OF CAPE COD
TUESDAY EVENING AND THEN WEAKEN AS IT MOVES AWAY TO NOVA SCOTIA ON
WEDNESDAY.

* TIMING...PRECIPITATION THIS AFTERNOON SHOULD BE SNOW OR A RAIN
  SNOW MIX... BEFORE CHANGING TO ALL SNOW FROM NORTH TO SOUTH
  THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BECOME DIFFICULT TONIGHT AND TUESDAY.

* WINDS...NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE MID 30S.

* VISIBILITY...ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES.
