...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM EDT this morning.

* Location...Portions of Rhode Island including Providence.

* Visibilities...One quarter to one half mile at times.

* Timing...into the morning hours.

* Impacts...Visibility in fog may change rapidly and drop to
  below a quarter mile at times. Motorists are urged to use
  caution and allow for extra travel time and distance between
  vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile, for at least 3 hours. If
driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.
