...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern Massachusetts,
northeastern Massachusetts, southeastern Massachusetts, northern
Rhode Island and southern Rhode Island.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Dense Fog Advisory.

High astronomical tides continue. Will need to monitor the
possibility of minor coastal flooding during the time of high tide
late this morning, and again late this evening. Minor splashover and
beach erosion are more likely at this time. However, a few locations
along the east coast of Massachusetts will get quite close.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

MORNING...

* Location...Coastal areas of Massachusetts and Rhode Island,
  including the Islands.

* Visibilities...One quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing...Through 9 AM EDT Today.

* Impacts...Hazardous travel due to poor visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile, for at least 3 hours. If
driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.
