THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

PLEASE LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR GO TO WEATHER.GOV ON THE
INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   HIGH RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

TROPICAL WEATHER...TROPICAL DEPRESSION NINE IS EXPECTED TO
STRENGTHEN INTO A TROPICAL STORM AND MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS
NORTHERN FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST GEORGIA THURSDAY NIGHT BEFORE
TRACKING NEAR THE SOUTH CAROLINA COAST FRIDAY. CONFIDENCE REMAINS
LOW IN THE STRENGTH AND TRACK OF THIS SYSTEM SO CONTINUE TO
MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS. AT THIS TIME THE BEST CHANCE OF
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS WILL BE NEAR THE COAST.

COASTAL FLOODING...TIDE LEVELS MAY REACH HIGH ENOUGH TO PRODUCE
SHALLOW SALTWATER INUNDATION THROUGH FRIDAY.

FLASH FLOODING...HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED AT TIMES THROUGH FRIDAY.
THERE WILL BE A RISK FOR FLASH FLOODING IN LOW-LYING COASTAL
AREAS...MAINLY AROUND TIMES OF HIGH TIDE.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...ISOLATED TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE
THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY.

RIP CURRENTS...AN ELEVATED RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS IS LIKELY AT THE
BEACHES THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK...MAINLY DUE TO LARGE SWELLS
IMPACTING THE COAST.
