This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central South
Dakota, north central South Dakota, and northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A storm system to the south will spread snow into the forecast
area today. Snowfall amounts will very drastically from north to
south. Snow accumulations are unlikely to amount to anything north
of highway 212...but to the south snow amounts could top out
between 1-3 inches. South of highway 14...snow totals will range
between 4-8 inches with the highest amounts along and south of
Interstate 90. Additionally...gusty winds to 40mph...when
combined with falling snow...will result in poor visibility and
hazardous travel conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Snow will move out of the forecast area early Friday morning, with
winds diminishing through the day.


Spotter activation will not be needed.
