This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Minnesota, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south
central South Dakota, and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the area. Light snow is
expected through the overnight hours. Winds will increase to 25 to
40 mph, creating patchy blowing snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Winter weather continues into Monday before ending Monday
afternoon and evening. Snowfall totals are expected to average 2
to 5 inches. Expect greatly reduced visibilities in blowing snow,
especially in open areas. Travel could become difficult.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the morning commute on Monday. Storm total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast South Dakota
  and southwest Minnesota.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will gust up to 40 mph while snow is
  falling. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
  times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
