TODAY...

* TIMING...PERIODS OF SNOWFALL WILL END THIS MORNING.

* ACCUMULATIONS...GENERALLY 1 TO 3 INCHES. THE SLIGHTLY HIGHER
  AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY BE OVER PARTS OF NORTHWEST IOWA.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...SOUTHEAST WINDS 20 TO 30 MPH COULD CAUSE
  VISIBILITIES TO LOWER TO LESS THAN A HALF MILE IN SNOW AND
  BLOWING SNOW IN OPEN AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW MEANS THAT
VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF FALLING AND
BLOWING SNOW. USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING...ESPECIALLY IN OPEN
AREAS.

IOWA...SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...EAST CENTRAL
SOUTH DAKOTA AND SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

LIGHT SNOW WILL TAPER OFF FROM WEST TO EAST THROUGH MID MORNING...WITH
ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION OF A HALF TO ONE INCH. IN
ADDITION...GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF BLOWING
SNOW EAST OF INTERSTATE 29 THROUGH THE MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

MIXED PRECIPITATION WILL BE POSSIBLE ON MONDAY EVENING...CHANGING
TO ALL SNOW LATER AT NIGHT. SNOW AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY BE LESS
THAN AN INCH.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED.
