THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST NORTH
CAROLINA...EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

WIND CHILL VALUES WILL BE QUITE LOW ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS
OF SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA...THE NORTHEAST TENNESSEE MOUNTAINS...AND THE
SMOKY MOUNTAINS THIS MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...

ANOTHER...STRONGER STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA BEGINNING
SUNDAY NIGHT WITH CONTINUING IMPACT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. WITH
SUB-FREEZING AIR IN PLACE ACROSS THE REGION...WIDESPREAD
ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE. AS TEMPERATURES BEGIN TO
WARM AS EARLY AS SUNDAY NIGHT FROM SOUTH TO NORTH INTO MONDAY
AFTERNOON...SNOW COULD MIX WITH RAIN...FREEZING RAIN...AND
SLEET...BEFORE CHANGING BACK TO SNOW LATE MONDAY NIGHT...ESPECIALLY
IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS ALONG THE NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS WHERE
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE BY TUESDAY MORNING.
ANOTHER WEAKER SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION FROM THE NORTHWEST
TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO TUESDAY NIGHT WITH MORE SNOW SHOWERS
POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

SPECIFIC FORECAST DETAILS REGARDING PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS...TYPE
AND GEOGRAPHIC POSITIONING AS WELL AS THE TIMING OF TRANSITIONS
FROM SNOW TO RAIN AND RAIN BACK TO SNOW...ARE STILL SOMEWHAT
UNCERTAIN AT THIS TIME.

INFORMATION REGARDING THIS POTENTIAL WINTER STORM...PARTICULARLY IF
