THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST ARKANSAS...
THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...NORTH MISSISSIPPI...AND WEST TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

STRONG TO ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE SOUTH OF I-40
THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY EVENING. DAMAGING WINDS IS THE THREAT FOR
ANY THUNDERSTORMS WHICH REACH SEVERE LIMITS. LOCALIZED FLASH
FLOODING FROM HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL MOVE ACROSS THE MID
SOUTH THIS WEEK. THERE WILL BE A POTENTIAL FOR EPISODES OF STRONG
TO SEVERE STORMS AS WELL AS HEAVY RAINFALL AT TIMES. DETAILS
REGARDING ANY SEVERE WEATHER AND FLASH FLOOD POTENTIAL WILL BE
PROVIDED IN LATER FORECASTS.

The Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A followup Flood Statement will be issued tomorrow or sooner if
conditions warrant.

For graphical river and flood information...please go to
www.weather.gov and click near Memphis on the map. Then select Rivers
and Lakes AHPS under current conditions.

Do not drive through flooded areas...turn around don`t drown.

Stay tuned to your weather radio and your local news media for the
latest river information.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Mississippi River at Caruthersville
* until further notice.
* At 09 PM Monday the stage was 33.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring AND Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage Wednesday June 24 and will
  continue rising to near 34.0 feet by Monday July 06.  Additional
  rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 34.0 feet...In Tennessee, Barr Road along the Middle Fork of the
  Forked Deer River is flooding near the bridge at the south end of
  Watkins Road. Water from the north bottom of Lauderdale County is
  now flowing over the basin boundary into the south bottomm of
  Lauderdale County. In Missouri, large business just north of
  Caruthersville is covering up. Many fields adjacent to the
  Interstate 155 Bridge are flooded.
