PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The next River Statement will be issued tonight or sooner if conditions
warrant.

For graphical river and flood information...please go to
www.weather.gov and click near Memphis on the map. Then select Rivers
and Lakes AHPS under current conditions.

Do not drive through flooded areas...turn around don`t drown.

Stay tuned to your weather radio and your local news media for the
latest river information.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  the Mississippi River at Caruthersville
* until Saturday February 13.
* At 12 PM Monday the stage was 28.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 29.9 feet Thursday February
  11.
* At 30.0 feet...Sloughs are flooding fields just north of Chisholm
  Lake, Tennessee.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM CST
THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS BETWEEN 20 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS
  UP TO 40 MPH.

* TIMING...FROM 9 AM CST TODAY TO 6 PM CST THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...LOOSE OUTDOOR ITEMS WILL BE VULNERABLE TO THE WINDS
  AND SHOULD BE BROUGHT INSIDE OR TIED DOWN. DRIVING MAY BECOME
  HAZARDOUS...ESPECIALLY TO HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 25 TO 39 MPH ARE
EXPECTED...OR GUSTS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 40 AND 57 MPH. WINDS THIS
STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE
VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
