OVER LAKEWOOD...OR 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF NASHVILLE...MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
GALLATIN...LEBANON...HENDERSONVILLE...MOUNT JULIET...LAKEWOOD...
HERMITAGE AND OLD HICKORY.

HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...AND MAY LEAD TO
LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 10 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

HEAT INDEX VALUES OF 100 TO 105 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED FOR LOCATIONS
WEST OF THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU REGION FOR TODAY. HEAT SAFETY WILL
BE OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE.

SLOW-MOVING THUNDERSTORMS...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE CUMBERLAND
PLATEAU...MAY PRODUCE HEAVY DOWNPOURS. DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF
THE STORMS...SOME LOCALIZED SPOTS COULD RECEIVE SEVERAL INCHES OF
RAIN...LEADING TO PONDING OF WATER IN LOW LYING AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
