This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A line of showers and thunderstorms arriving this evening from
Middle Tennessee or storms ahead of the line could be strong to
possibly severe, mainly over the plateau and southeast Tennessee.
A marginal severe threat can be expected with hail up to 1 inch
and strong, damaging thunderstorm wind gusts above 50 mph. A low-
end tornado threat can also not be totally ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A few strong to possibly some severe thunderstorms again are
possible Friday. Additionally, flooding from heavy downpours
and/or training of storms over the same area could also become a
concern.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed Tuesday evening. Please relay
any information about severe weather to the NWS while following
local, state, and CDC guidelines.
