This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southwest North
Carolina...East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A strong upper level storm system will move across the Tennessee
Valley Today. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible through
the evening hours as a cold front moves across the area. Damaging
winds and quarter size hail will be the biggest threat, although
an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out. A tornado watch is
in effect for most of East Tennessee, southwest North Carolina,
and Southwest Virginia until 8 PM EDT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

...Strong to Severe Thunderstorms are Possible both Saturday and
Sunday Afternoon and Early Evening...

A moist and very unstable airmass will be across the area this
weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible each
day. Some of these storms may be severe with damaging winds, hail
and locally heavy rainfall possible with the stronger
thunderstorms.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and again this
weekend.
