THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST ARKANSAS...
THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...NORTH MISSISSIPPI...AND WEST TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FEW STRONG STORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT
FOR PORTIONS OF THE MIDSOUTH NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40 INCLUDING
NORTHEAST ARKANSAS.. THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL AND NORTHWEST
TENNESSEE. DAMAGING WINDS AND HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE THE MAIN
THREATS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

A FEW STRONG STORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY IN THE
NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE MIDSOUTH.

  Mississippi River at Memphis affecting Crittenden...DeSoto and
  Shelby Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The next River Statement will be issued tomorrow morning or sooner if conditions
warrant.

For graphical river and flood information...please go to
www.weather.gov and click near Memphis on the map. Then select Rivers
and Lakes AHPS under current conditions.

Do not drive through flooded areas...turn around don`t drown.

Stay tuned to your weather radio and your local news media for the
latest river information.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  the Mississippi River at Memphis
* until Saturday July 11.
* At 09 PM Monday the stage was 30.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to near 32.0 feet Saturday July 11.
* At 32.0 feet...In Arkansas, the road to the dwelling on south end
  of Island 40 Chute is flooding. The levee near Danner Lake has
  water on it. Water is up to most of the levee west of Island 40
  Chute and on south to I-55. Most all land between Memphis and West
  Memphis is covered by water.
