.NOW...
Showers and storms are beginning to develop across the Panhandles
region. There is also a line of heavier storms making their way
eastward from eastern New Mexico. Heavy downpours with localized
ponding on roadways and lightning will be the main threat with
these storms. However, across the northwestern Panhandles, gusty
winds and small hail may also accompany the more heavier
thunderstorms in New Mexico working their way east over the next
few hours.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening across
the northern and western portions of the Panhandles. Although
widespread severe weather is expected to remain low, a few storms
could become strong and produce small hail and strong winds. Very
heavy rainfall will also be possible from any of the stronger
storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday afternoon through Sunday.
Although widespread severe weather is expected to be low, a few
storms could produce small hail and strong winds. Some of the
storms will be capable of producing very heavy rainfall which may
result in localized flooding, especially Wednesday afternoon
through Friday.

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
